The 100P is an easy to use, robust automated filter tester that measures efficiency and pressure drop of filter media, filtering face pieces, and filter assemblies across a wide range of air flows using oil aerosol and solid state photometric detection. It is ideally suited for the rigorous quality control and validation requirements of both product development and production environments. The 100P can be custom configured to meet specific customer needs, including integration into automated production facilities for 100% product qualification.

Each 100P offers customers the choice of manual or automatic operation. The manual configuration is the most popular, requiring a person to operate the instrument and facilitate the testing function. It includes a manual test fixture to accommodate a standard 100 cm² flat sheet media adapter or a customized, user specific adapter for testing filter assemblies & cartridges such as those used for respirators. The automatic version has been integrated into multiple Tier-1 manufacturer’s automated production lines with great success and is controlled via RS-232 serial comm and User Interface ports.

 

Durable Design, Simple Operation

The 100P offers excellent durability, routinely exceeding one-half million repetitions between service cycles.  Routine preventive maintenance is simple, requiring basic cleaning and inspection of internal tubing and connections. With ATI’s service training, you can perform key calibration and maintenance functions on-site; minimizing downtime and service costs.

The user interface is a simple, easy to use digital display and four function button arrangement. A standard aerosol refill system allows near continuous operation of the tester and a configurable power supply ensures the unit is operable almost anywhere in the world.
