Accreditation demonstrates technical and operational competency and confirms repeatable and reproducible calibration results.
OWINGS MILLS, MD — 19 May 2025 — Air Techniques International (ATI), a global leader in the design and manufacture of specialized testing equipment for HEPA filters and protective masks, proudly announced its successful ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation for its Calibration Laboratories. All calibrations and 2i photometers ordered and serviced from ATI’s US and UK offices now meet the ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
“We’re excited to receive ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation and provide enhanced calibration and verification services to our customers,” said Ron Adkins, President of ATI. “Photometers are critical in applications that protect human health, and precise calibrations are essential to ensure quality measurements. I’m proud of our team’s hard work in becoming the world’s first and only photometer manufacturer to be ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited and ISO 9001 Certified.”
ISO/IEC 17025 is an internationally recognized standard that ensures a laboratory’s ability to consistently produce precise, repeatable, and accurate calibration results through a rigorous quality management system. This accreditation confirms ATI’s commitment to the highest technical proficiency, traceability, and quality control in its calibration processes.
Further, ATI was granted patent approval for technologies used in its new CALIBRA™ 800 Precision Aerosol Source (US patent 12,222,274). The CALIBRA™ system, used to calibrate and verify ATI 2i Photometers, produces more accurate gravimetric reference measurements, a more stable aerosol output, and a consistent particle size distribution across a wide range of aerosol concentrations.
ATI’s high-quality calibrations and multi-point verifications provide:
- Enhanced quality assurance
- Strengthened audit trail
- Better performance and consistency
- Increased confidence
